"The Sands of Sudan Campaign" weekend

A British square comes under attack from the Mahdist masses from the authors collection

A quick post on a sunday afternoon to draw your attention to a wonderful blog called "Legendary Wargames" which has featured on this blog before.  The lads have recently played a wonderful Sudan mini-campaign over a weekend and have photographed and detailed their accounts on their excellent Blood Red Sands of the Sudan Weekend"  post.

Click on the link and check it out.

  2. Excellent stuff! Well done to all involved in the campaign. Carlo, did I mention that Peter published a similar set-up for a Sudan campaign in the magazine Wargames World during the 90's? It's worth looking them out. I have them, but they're in England.

    1. Have them all AJ and are in fact using those as the basis of the new Campaign rules/supplement I am working on albeit ever so slowly.

    2. Hi Carlo. If you want any details from our campaign weekend in terms of card ideas or special rules etc, happy to oblige. Incidentally I tried making new cards but could not get them the right size and thickness through my printer. Any news on a new pack of blank and event cards? Ta
