The gunners manning the Nordenfeld on the deck of "The Sapphire" watch the battle unfold. Redoubt Miniatures figures and a scratch built gunboat. |
A few file shots of games played that I thought might be nice to kick-start the blog again and get some more inspiration coming through. Work is very much front and centre at present however it may prove ideal for writing up some new scenarios on long flights in the region in 2017 and beyond.

Nice looking table, gaming area, banner and figures. They make me want to don some pajamas and visit the desert.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jim - the pyjamas are always optional kind sir:-)
DeleteThis table is awesome! Great pictures, terrain and armies...
ReplyDeleteCheers Phil - it's amazing how effective a desert table can look - perhaps just the sparseness of it adds emphasis to whatever you put on the table.
DeleteGreat to see more photographs of my favourite Colonial Collection.
ReplyDeleteWonderful table setting and of course the figures.
Regards
John
Always the gentleman John - greatly appreciated sir.
DeleteGreat stuff, Carlo. I look forward to seeing more, especially the gunboat in action.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much AJ - the gunboat is coming along very slowly.
DeleteGood to see more pictures !
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely Dave - long overdue.
DeleteCarlo,
ReplyDeleteNice to see some inspiring photos and a return to the desert.
Must get back to my 15mm
Graham
Absolutely you should Graham, especially now that you are decluttering and making more room in your gaming room and life! That would be great to see.
DeleteVery Nice Carlo. Love the terrain and figures
ReplyDeleteCheers Nathan - always appreciate you popping by.
ReplyDeleteVery effective pictures, Carlos. Encourages me to continue on my Sudan Project with Connoisseur and assorted other manufacturers. Keep up the great work. By the way, your rules books is also inspiring and I refer to it often. Kindest regards - Hal
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Hal and it's great to hear you are still pushing steadily with the period. Looking forward to seeing the end result.
